Choir at St Michael and All Angels, Hubberholme
Buckden Singers is a four part community choir based in the tiny Yorkshire Dales village of Buckden, in Upper Wharfedale.
Founded in 2007, when a group of a dozen friends formed a singing group, meeting in a villager’s sitting room, the choir has expanded to more than 30 members, from Buckden and neighbouring villages. The choir, which rehearses weekly, welcomes members from all areas and includes one fifth of the population of Buckden.
Buckden Singers appeared in the ITV1 series "The Dales" with Ade Edmondson. They have also featured on BBC Radio 3's "Meet my Choir" slot. The choir performs at least twice over the summer, and three times over Christmas. We also support worship at St Michael & All Angels, Hubberholme several times a year.
The choir welcomes new members so do get in touch if you would like to sing with us.
